We aim to make moving your WordPress website to Spectrum easy. We’ll handle the migration for you but will need some information about your website.
Once we have the above information, we can then analyse your website and set it up on the Spectrum hosting network.
We’ll need your domain details in order to make changes to the DNS records.
You can update these records in your domain account—we’ll provide full details on which records need to be updated in order to point your website to our hosting network.
Alternatively, you can provide us login details for your domain account and we’ll make these changes on your behalf.
If you’re unsure about which company your domain is with, let us know and we’ll do our best to try and figure this out for you.
If you’ve setup your site with a hosting provider such as 123-reg or GoDaddy, you can simply provide us with login details and we should be able to get a copy of your website.
If your site is managed by an agency, we’ll need to arrange for them to create a backup of your site and send it over to us. We can arrange this for you with your permission.
Once we’ve got a copy of your site and DNS/domain details we’ll be able to give you a date for migration.
